Just a few pics from Washubrn's Homecoming weekend. Saturday morning started out a bit chilly, but it turned out to be a beautiful day!
The Washburn Alumni Association board of directors members welcoming past and present Alumni Fellows Friday morning.
Some of the fellows opted to visit a class in their respective departments, while your Alumni Association Board of Directors convened for a board meeting.
During a visit to the law school to hear about the plans for their new building, we got a sneak peek at the BEAUTIFUL Washburn Christmas ornament celebrating our sesquicentennial that is going to be hung on the Christmas tree at the White House. Be sure to make a stop by the Ichabod Shop in the coming weeks to get yours for your own tree. They will go fast!
Here is our fearless leader, John Haverty, getting the Alumni Fellows luncheon underway.
The following photos are this years' honorees.

Now on to the homecoming parade.
Here are three of the hippest, most non-biased judges you'll see!
Our homecoming candidates.
The cold wasn't going to dampen the cheer squad's spirits.
How cool is this????
A TARDIS!!! The Washburn Players got a HUGE score from the Ichablogger for this float!
Ichabod in a tutu.
Pretty fitting for the Dancing Blues, don't ya think?
This, also, was a pretty good float, despite this oddly timed photo op.
This. Was. Awesome!
It's a ROCKET!!
Made by some of the most talented Washburn Tech students.
Muy impresionante!
Here are the winners of the Greek floats.
Wish I had a photo of the float for you. It was pretty spectacular.
Imagine a DG floating (yes, really floating) above the moon, declaring it a Washburn colony, with a pithy Sig Ep narrating the story, trying desperately to yell and be heard over the Topeka High fight song. Good show, guys!
Always a favorite part of the whole game day experience for the mini 'Bods.
I mean, come on!
That's freaking priceless right there!
Unfortunately for us, the Bearcats were a force to be reckoned with.
Aaahh, yes.
The band in costume.
Betcha can't find the Flash.
No worries.
They caught her.
